On April 18 and 19, 2026,

Les Forges de Pyrène invites Forges de Pyrène to enjoy an exceptional weekend dedicated to the excellence of the arts and crafts. These days offer the opportunity to experience a world where tradition and modernity meet.

More than 35 artisans and artists, an extraordinary diversity of craftsmanship and many new talents to discover, the 2026 edition of the Craft Days at Forges de Pyrène Montgailhard.

A journey between tradition and modernity,
Explore the encounter between 19th-century craftsmanship and contemporary creativity.

Hearth Forge Creation – Anthony Ripoll 

Anthony Ripoll, founder of Hearth Forge Création, is a passionate blacksmith who transforms metal into works of art. In his workshop, he forges one-of-a-kind pieces. Drawing on his meticulous craftsmanship, Anthony creates sturdy and aesthetically pleasing pieces that blend traditional craftsmanship with a modern vision. His work, rich in detail, reflects his commitment to the quality and beauty of forged metal. 

SANCHEZ Gabriel – Tarditi Workshop 

As a certified artisan knife maker, Gabriel SANCHEZ showcases his expertise and passion by creating unique knives.

In his workshop at the foot of the Pyrenees, he designs folding knives, table knives, and kitchen knives.

BG FORGES – Guillaume BEAUDIC,

This enthusiast of forging, iron, and hot metalworking founded his company, BG Forge, in Pamiers in 2014. He specializes in designing artistic ironwork in Pamiers, from traditional to contemporary forging, combining the old with the new. He is currently recognized as an Artisan des Métiers d'Art (Master Craftsman).

Onillon Workshop – Metalwork and Ironwork

After earning his CAP (vocational training certificate) in metalwork in 2016, Thomas Onillon quickly distinguished himself through his high standards and dedication to a job well done. He began his career as an employee, where he honed his skills over four years, developing solid experience in metalworking and artisanal ironwork.

In 2020, driven by a desire for independence and creativity, he founded his own company. Since then, he has been applying his expertise to bespoke projects, combining technical skill, precision, and aesthetic sensibility, with the aim of promoting a demanding and timeless craft.

Matthieu Boulon – Taillanderie des 4 vallées

Matthieu Boulon is a passionate craftsman and head of Taillanderie des Quatre Vallées. He carries on an ancestral tradition by forging high-quality cutting tools for professionals and enthusiasts who work with wood and earth. Each piece is crafted with precision and attention to detail, combining tradition and artisanal excellence.

BROTHER Quentin – Artisan Blacksmith

Quentin Frère is a passionate artisan blacksmith specializing in the creation of forged metal objects. His workshop offers a wide range of products, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary designs. Thanks to his expertise, Quentin creates unique pieces that reflect the richness of French craftsmanship.

Guillaume Regnier – Photographie ambulante et alternative

Guillaume Regnier est photographe artisan d’art, spécialisé dans la photographie argentique et les procédés alternatifs. Il se déplace avec sa chambre-labo photographique au cœur des événements — marchés, festivals, mariages, vernissages ou rencontres associatives — afin de proposer une expérience originale et immersive.

Through instant portraits taken on the spot, he invites participants to discover the magic of film photography in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Each image—unique and developed by hand—becomes a tangible, timeless keepsake.

A Touch of Wildness – Léa Cuminetti

UnBrinSauvages is a brand of artisanal creations made from dried flowers, entirely handmade with passion and delicacy. Each piece is designed as an invitation to bring nature into your home, through sustainable and charming compositions.

FAURE Marieke – Laliboc

Before devoting herself to design, she worked for several years as a field archaeologist and cultural mediator at prehistoric sites. By reproducing the techniques of our ancestors, she discovered the art of working with antler, used since the Paleolithic era for jewelry and sculptures, and began creating her own jewelry.

Inspired by her travels and encounters, her jewelry becomes souvenirs to wear every day. She breathes new life into naturally shed deer antlers, transforming them into unique pieces steeped in history and symbolism.

The Soul of Wood – Julien Cazalé

The Elm Tree and the Forge – Jean D’eimar de Jabrun

With a passion for woodworking and fine materials, he is an artisan specializing in the creation of wooden objects, sculpture, woodturning, as well as small-scale cabinetmaking, forged cutlery, and metal casting.

His studio, L’Orme et la Forge, is the result of several years of practice and research into traditional techniques. Each piece is born from the encounter between the material and the artisan’s craft, bringing to life unique creations that are both beautiful and functional.

Committed to preserving time-honored craftsmanship, he brings a personal and contemporary approach to his work, striking a balance between tradition and innovation.

Nicolas Raynau – The Trace of the Gesture

Nicolas Raynaud is a craftsman specializing in traditional woodworking techniques, particularly medieval woodcarving and pole-turning. Through La Trace du Geste, he creates one-of-a-kind pieces and leads workshops and demonstrations, passing on ancestral know-how and showcasing the beauty of the artisanal craft.

EMI Finishing – Noémie Baque

Noémie Baque is the founder of EMI Finition, a workshop specializing in sandblasting, lacquering, and furniture makeovers. She breathes new life into old objects, giving them a second lease on life thanks to innovative and eco-friendly techniques. With her expertise, Noémie transforms worn-out furniture into unique pieces, while respecting their history and authenticity.

Cosmetics 

Snow Sweets

The origin of Douceur des Neiges stems from the desire to have a name that reflects the products and their philosophy. This implies gentle, natural, fresh products made in Ariège, at the foot of the Pyrenees, hence the snow!

Furthermore, since no dyes are used, most of the products are snow-white.

Working with wool 

Valérie Sambrès – Wool Spinner

Valérie Sambres is a artisan spinner in Ariège, specializing in traditional wool and mohair spinning. From fleece to ball of yarn, she transforms natural fibers through washing, carding, and spinning with a spindle or spinning wheel. She offers unique textile creations and shares her expertise during demonstrations and craft events.

Glasswork 

MK Fusing – Custom Fused Glass by Marc Kniebihler

MK Fusing, led by glass artist Marc Kniebihler, offers custom-made fused glass creations that combine art and functionality. Based in Occitanie, Marc creates unique works ranging from illuminated mirrors and architectural panels to lighting fixtures and decorative objects, as well as more technical elements such as backsplashes and hood backs.

Each piece is crafted with special attention, using glass fusion techniques to create modern and elegant designs that blend harmoniously into a variety of environments. Marc also offers custom designs for specific projects. 

Florence Ferrié – Stained glass artisan in Ariège 

Unique and eco-friendly creations made from glass, recycled glass, and paper.

Passionate about this technique with its infinite possibilities since 2002, she creates, experiments, and plays with colors and light, following her inspiration. Each creation becomes a unique piece, where glass and paper intertwine harmoniously.

Capgras Géraldine – Stained glass artisan in Ariège 

Designer of decorative glass objects using the Tiffany technique, which involves wrapping each piece of glass with a copper ribbon before joining them together with tin solder.

Her designs play with light, transparency, and texture to add a touch of poetry to both indoor and outdoor spaces.

She particularly enjoys working with clear glass and its various shades, while exploring the colors that inspire her.
Each piece is produced in small batches, with a distinctiveness that makes every creation unique.

La Montagne Tonnerre Gem Cutting Workshop – Gabriel CHAUVET

Gabriel Chauvet is a master gemstone artisan and the founder of La Montagne Tonnerre. He works with precious and semi-precious stones to create exceptional jewelry. His expertise in gemstone cutting and his passion for minerals enable him to bring unique creations to life, blending tradition with sophistication.

Karine Pinet, founder of Tapisserie d’Occitanie, is an artisan with a passion for textile art. She designs woven and tufted tapestries that blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design.

She also offers maintenance, cleaning, and restoration services to preserve and revitalize textile pieces. Each project reflects her high standards, her sensitivity to the materials, and her commitment to traditional craftsmanship.

La Mécanique textile – Céline Guédon

The Art of Braiding Revisited – Poline Garceau

She showcases artisanal craftsmanship through unique and authentic creations. Passionate about handcrafted work and natural materials, she breathes new life into wooden chairs through meticulous, colorful weaving, done entirely by hand.

His stools combine sturdiness and aesthetics, blending rope, textiles, and harmonious shades to create pieces that are both modern and warm. Each creation is unique, designed to be both decorative and functional.

Through her work, Poline Torine promotes craftsmanship, patience, and creativity, offering sustainable creations that bring a touch of originality and character to interiors.

BRU Maïthé – Creative weaver specializing in low-warp and high-warp tapestry

Maïthé Bru is a creative artisan whose work stands out for its refinement and originality. Whether in the realm of home decor or accessories, Maïthé skillfully blends traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics to create unique pieces that are both functional and artistic. Each creation is an invitation to explore a world crafted from fine materials and meticulous techniques.

MHOZ Luminaire – REINE Sophie  

Sophie Reine, founder of MHOZ Luminaire, designs unique lighting fixtures that combine contemporary design with artisanal craftsmanship. Each piece is designed to enhance the space by bringing light and elegance. Louise BLOCH – Louise BLOCH Workshop

La pratique de la céramique offrant un champ d’expression infini, elle inscrit sa démarche artistique autour de deux axes essentiels : le respect de la terre et l’usage de l’objet. Son travail et ses collections visent à limiter au maximum l’impact sur les sols. Pour réaliser l’émail brun de sa vaisselle en grès, elle utilise uniquement des matières premières abondantes, issues de ressources locales. Soucieux de réduire sa consommation d’énergie, elle opte pour une cuisson en mono-cuisson pour l’ensemble de ses pièces, alliant ainsi exigence artisanale et engagement environnemental.
