Traditional threshing, the great Wheat Festival at Forges de Pyrène

Cet été, les Forges de Pyrène s’adaptent aux fortes chaleurs et vous proposent une expérience unique : les Nocturnes de Pyrène.

Tous les mercredis, de 18h30 à 22h30, profitez d’une visite dans une ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale, lorsque les températures deviennent plus agréables.

Au fil de votre balade dans le village des années 1900, retrouvez les démonstrations qui font la richesse et la renommée des Forges de Pyrène :

La Grande Fête du Blé , le jeudi 20 août 2026

An unmissable summer event, La Grande Fête du Blé celebrates wheat, bread, and the rural traditions that have shaped our region. At Forges de Pyrène, this festive day pays tribute to the farming world and its heritage through authentic activities and lively entertainment.

Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the countryside of yesteryear and watch traditional threshing, the highlight of the day, where traditional machines and techniques come to life before your eyes. Throughout the event, agricultural demonstrations will give you a better understanding of how the land is worked, from grain to flour, and then to bread.
